Ahmad Afif Azhan HM - It is a must for me not to miss my favorite Sunday morning cartoons on TV ever since I was a kid. I cherish the memory of having conversation with my friends the next Morning in school about how great the episode was, captivated by the fight scenes, the impact that it brings. Now I appreciate the works animation as more than an entertainment, but in its form of art, how it conveys different spectrum of emotions and senses. Now I create animation as a medium of expressing my self, where thousand words are not enough, and poetry is limited.
Komik Fox – is the seed of it. Started somewhat as a series of diary comics inspired by moments happening in my daily life. Its purpose was to make my reader laugh at the silly exaggeration of the scenarios and what-ifs portrayed by comically disproportionate foxes. Ever since then, that concept becomes the main theme of my works. The ideas is to me comes from a world within a world; everything goes, from memories that made me cringe, laugh, and unfortunately the downs from the bottom of the barrel. To me, when emotions bleed from my pen into the drawing is when the magic happens, giving it life.
